New York Woman, Rebecca Vandemark, Charged With Raping 14-Year-Old Boy

A Nyack, New York woman is accused of raping a 14-year-old boy whom she met while working at a nonprofit children’s facility.

Rebecca Vandemark, 22, of 40 Prospect Street, Nyak, NY was indicted Wednesday on six counts of second-degree rape, a felony, and a single count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Vandemark had sex with the boy between May 30 and June 12 in her Nyack apartment, District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said.

She dealt directly with him while working at a Westchester branch of the nonprofit Children’s Village.
